Google Indic Transliteration

Google Rocks Again! Words are less to speak about this "INTERNET" major. There's yet another excellent tool from Google Labs: Google Indic Transliteration.

Google Indic Transliteration for Indian languages is now available in the following languages:
  • हिन्दी (Hindi)
  • தமிழ் (Tamil)
  • తెలుగు (Telugu)
  • ಕನ್ನಡ (Kannada)
  • മലയാളം (Malayalam)
Tips:
  • To get context sensitive help, type a word and enter space. Now select the word and just click once using the left mouse button. Select "EDIT" from the option menu and you will find a keyboard icon, just click it and the keyboard is displayed.
Cons:
  • It would have been good if the keyboard was readily available rather than having to go through that big process to get the keyboard.
